If you have volunteer experience, have worked as a teacher aide or a school chaplain, or you've worked in the childcare industry, the Education Support and Youth Work qualifications are a good fit for your experience. If you lack experience in these fields and are wanting to study them from scratch, we are not the best fit for you. These programs are designed to work with people who have an understanding of the work that is involved practically in schools every day.

The story of Jane Sheehy who completed her Education Support qualification through the government funding available as a traineeship and Nicky who completed her Education Support qualification by taking her experience and using recognised prior learning to complete her qualification are two case studies that can give you some insight into the different study options.
