THERE IS GOVERNMENT FUNDING FOR YOUR EXISTING STAFF
Churchill Education has some good news for businesses that think government vocational assistance is strictly the domain of apprenticeships and traineeships. The government provides funding for businesses for their existing staff. That’s because ‘vocational’ and ‘educational’ aren’t confined to institutional education. Vocational education is an ongoing process in the workplace and the government funding offered to businesses recognizes this reality.
If one of your employees has been with your business for more than three months full-time, or 12 months part-time or casual, he/she may enter Australian Apprentice and your business is eligible for financial assistance.
Upgrade the skills of your employees under a government funding package that recognizes previously acquired training and tailors apprenticeship based outcomes that are relevant to the needs of your business.
Australian Government funding of a minimum of $4000 per eligible employee is available for employees if they demonstrate an existing training requirement and are commencing a Certificate III or IV for a duration of two years or more. In addition, funding of $1100 or more exist for businesses if an employee commences a Certificate III or IV under the Rural or Regional Skills Shortage criteria. And there is additional government funding for businesses that have developed an employee through training under a Certificate II Australian Apprenticeship and further develop that employee’s skills under a Certificate III or IV within twelve months of the completed Certificate II.

Education may begin at home but it is put to its maximum potential in the workplace. The Australian Government acknowledges the leaps and bounds potential of furthering an employee’s vocational education in the workplace. That’s why it’s putting its where its mouth is with supportive financial packages that share its vision for working environments where individuals can learn and grow.
Churchill Education shares this vision and that’s why it’s putting employers and employees in touch with the education and financial assistance to realize their respective goals. Give us a call on 1300 793 002 or send us an email info@churchilleducation.edu.au  to check what we can do for you!
